This book is quite difficult to source as it has been out of print for some time. However it is well worth searching for as it offers an indepth look at all aspects of Bio Energy Healing

This book is essential reading for all Energy Therapists, it examines the anatomy of the energetic body in detail, joining together the why's and how's of Energy Therapy in a no frills manner. It also gives accurate insights to a number of Energy Therapies including    "laying on of hands", Homoeopathy, Accupuncture and others. 

Touching Horses - communication, Health & Healing through Shiatsu by Marion Kaselle & Pamela Hannay

This is a superb book to begin your journey into energy healing for horses. It is written in a clear and easy to understand language with lots and lots of photographs to guide you through the material, together with plenty of useful tips and insights from two superb equine healers.  Although this book is no longer in print it can be found second hand. It is not cheap and I have seen it trade for as much as 120 euro, however it is worth every penny of it.
